Sudden intense pain in both my arms?

I just turned 35. I usually have pain from arthritis in my left clavicle and sometimes down my left arm, but last night, after stooping over to clean the bath tub, I sat on a stool in the kitchen. I had a sudden intense pain in both my arms, the right being stronger. I also noticed a pain in my lower back and the back of my right thigh. I have never experienced this before, so it was scary. This morning I still have slight pain but not as intense as last night. The only thing I can think of is that is was from cleaning the bath tub and that I pulled something or it is a pinched nerve. Or, it could be because I never sit on that stool my back was affected. I also never clean the bath tub! So it could be that cleaning was so strenous to my non-exercising body that it was painful. Let me know what you guys think, and should I call my orthopedic Dr.? Thanks.

You should check with your Primary Care Physician. They would do the necessary tests needed then possibly send you to the correct specialist depending what the test results are.

It could just be that you used muscles that you have not used in a while.

If it is a pinched nerve, you may have to go to a Neurologist. An Orthopedic MD would be involved with the bones.

No matter what, have it checked out.
