Types of Refills

Perhaps the most widely-used pen refills are Schmidt pen refills offered by Lanier Pens. The three types of Schmidt pen refills are for our roller ball, Cross style, and Parker style pens. Different types of refills are available for different writer’s needs. Some examples are listed below.

Schmidt 5888 roller ball refill have utilized over half a century manufacturing expertise to produce its high quality roller ball refills. It has a ceramic tip and a metal body that ensures smooth writing. It fits 98% of roller ball pens that are universally-sized. In fact, it fits the brand labels Pentel, Aurora, Rotring, Bexley, Bossert & Erhard, Colebri, Conklin, Conway Stewart, Diplomat, Faber-Castell, Jean-Pierre Lepine, Lanier, Marlin, Montegrappa, Waterman, Retro 1951, Visconti, and others. It is available in Fine point and Medium point.

Schmidt 888 also has the ceramic tip of Schmidt 5888. The difference is that instead of the metal body of Schmidt 5888, this model has a plastic body. Nevertheless, it writes as fine. Schmidt 888 also fits 98% of all universally-sized roller ball pens. It can fit the same brand labels that Schmidt 5888 fits, and a couple of others. It also exists with a Fine tip and a Medium tip.

Lanier Pens offers three very popular Schmidt Parker Style refills.  They include the Schmidt P900 Parker Style ballpoint, the Schmidt easyFLOW 9000 which glides more easily over the paper than any other writing system.  The easyFLOW 9000 combines the advantages of the well-know ballpoint refill with those of a Rollerball refill creating a completely new writing experience.  The Schmidt P8900 Superbowl refill is an innovative system for smooth and elegant writing.  This system combines the individual writing characteristics of a Fountain Pen with the convenience of a ball Pen.

These are just some examples of pen refills. Even though certain pens such as those handcrafted ones may last a lifetime, pen refills do have their limits depending on how much one uses them.
